Ms. Nelly moved to the United States from Nicaragua just over two years ago. She studied Business Administration with a minor in Economics in college, but has always had a passion for working with children. After having the opportunity to work at a summer camp, Nelly decided to become a teacher – and we’re so glad she did! In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking (especially in the fall!), reading, or watching a good movie. Nelly’s favorite children’s book is Heart by Edmondo De Amicis. She shares that it is a powerful and beautiful book that teaches about sharing, being kind to others, and friendship.

Nelly joined our team in 2021 and feels passionate about instilling  the right tools, confidence, and kindness in her students at Whole Kids Academy to set them up for success in Pre-K and beyond!
