Ms. Vero was born in Annapolis, Maryland, but lived in Utah for some time before moving back to the area! Her parents are proudly Mexican and Peruvian, and are people who Vero admires and appreciates for their effort and sacrifices in advancing her into the next stage of her life. Vero is currently attending Towson University where she is seeking her bachelors degree in early childhood education. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys watching movies, shopping, playing soccer, and spending time with her friends and family. Vero’s favorite children’s book is The Little Engine That Could because through every obstacle, the engine never lost hope and was able to reach its destination at the end!

Vero has been a part of our team at WKA since 2019. She shares that she loves being at WKA because she can create meaningful relationships with children and have the opportunity to watch them grow throughout the years, from the infant classrooms all the way to Pre-K or even Kindergarten!
